So,
Bought a collection yesterday that included many items obviously collected while in the service stationed in the pacific during WWII [50 peso victory note, 1944-1945 phillipinian nickel and dimes, army 10 cent note, etc.]
I've seen the 1914 Yuan dollar knock-offs for sale before and thought I had one of those. Well, the size didn't match nor the weight. So after visiting my LCS we found it in a world book as a half yuan.
These appear to have only been minted 1 year and according to both eBay and PCGS pricing have a high collectors value. Can someone please verify what I've found and provide your best guess for value? Thanks.
