Went on a recent dig on some private land very near Sailors Creek battlefield in Amelia County. Found some nice dropped Three Ringers, Sharps, a nice ring with some nice detail (to bad the plow got it), and the ring from the end of a 58 cal rifle. The ring that holds the barrel and stock together. I need help identifining a bullet I dug near some others. It is pictured with a Three Ringer for size comparision.

Pistol Bullet, probably .36 cal.

I would have to agree Kiros32 on this. I have found the same type of bullets in Richmond area. Most likely Calvary since it was at Sailor's Creek, since Sheriden was hounding our boys pretty good and they did attack Ewell on his right flank. Nice finds! Ever want to hook up and hunt someday, let me know. I live in Suffolk but hunt all around Richmond area. Thanks and keep finding them!
