Hi James
Your print is a photoengraving of a painting by the German romantic landscape artist August Wilhelm Leu (1818-1897) and produced c1880. The work is often titled “Sunset at Capri”, although it shows the natural arch at Palinuro beach in Italy, looking towards the island of Capri in the distance.

I would expect it to be approximately 35x25 inches unless it’s from the two-volume set of folios published as “The Triumphs of Modern Art: Containing The Most Notable Paintings Of To-Day, Selected From The Modern Masterpieces Of The Whole World Of Art” by Gebbie & Co. of Philadelphia c1890-1900. Each volume contained 50 works approx. 12x17 inches with the photogravures as monotints in various hues and an impression “bite” in the border between the image and the edge of the paper (what you’re perceiving to be a ‘signature’). The prints were attached to the binding by a cloth hinge and often turn up as individually framed works that have been detached from the original publication.
