Can someone tell me how I load patterns into the Etrac. For instance, I want to load Andy Sabisch's Coin program I have it it gives specific coordinates for the disc. I even tried to load it manually but of course the actual detector screen has no numbers and is very small. I thought I could use the exchange program but that doesn't seem to work either. Thanks for any help.

Do you have the Etrac exchange on your computer. If not you need to install it. You need to download whatever pattern you want onto your computer. It is usually easier if you create a folder on your desktop. You can name the folder and place the files inside it. Once you have it downloaded connect your etrac to your computer with USB cord. Turn on the etrac and open your etrac exchange. You will see two tabs on the top left settings and patterns. Click on patterns and below pattern is a small box that has "I want to" above it. Click on the box and it will ask you if you want to upload pattern to etrac. Click on upload and it will open another box that says open. Click on that and highlight the file that you want to upload. Click open and the pattern will be uploaded to whichever mode or patterns box that you choose!

Its very simple to create and save disc patterns. Have you read the instructions in the owners manual yet?

I did this for the first time just the other day.

First, get your etrac connected to a computer using the xchange software that comes with the etrac.
Read the manual for using xchange.

Get some patterns to easily load from here: http://www.thebeepgoeson.com/display.asp?page=E-Trac_Patterns
I noticed that you can get and load both discrimination patterns and modes (Sabisch pattern & mode here): http://www.findmall.com/read.php?63,894336,894336#msg-894336

I've loaded some new patterns and modes; now if the snow would go away!
