Hello,
Please help ID this coin made into a jewelry pendant. On the face it has an emperor's image; he has something in his hair. I am not able to see the writing on the left side. On the back, it looks like 2 soldiers. They wear a skirt(?) type of uniform and have weapons in both hands pointing down. There is an object between the soldiers. This is assuming I interpret it correctly, I could have misread it.

I am not sure if it's made into gold or not, but it has a sign 22K. Perhaps it stands for 22 carat? Hopefully someone can shed the light on this item. Thank you very much!

The coin depicts a Constantine II Roman Imperial type. There are several with two soldiers on the reverse. The mark is for 22k gold though i've never personally seen it with the K stamped in front of the karat purity number. Nice looking piece. I would think if the gold tests as real, then the coin probably is too. Take it to your nearest jeweler and they will test it for free if you don't have a test kit.

Your photos are pretty dark so you'll have to look for which type of coin it is- Constantine II, Roman Imperial Coins reference at WildWinds.com

A quick search shows several pieces of high end jewelry with a "k22" mark. So I think your probably good. BTW-Welcome to the forum!

I believe it's the fifth coin down in the link.

I believe it is the 12th one down-

Constantine II AE3, CONSTANTINVS IVN NOB C, laureate, cuirassed bust right / GLOR-IA EXERC-ITVS, two soldiers holding spears and shields with one standard between them. Mintmark: SMANЄ.
