Help with ID- German medicine cabinet?

I just picked this up at a consignment store. I'm going to use it as a display case. But I was wondering what is actually was. I assumed it was german military BC of the Maltese cross, but I don't know anything about military collectibles. Thanks for reading!

I collect german militaria especially medical itens. I cant see the cross nor really make out what you have there. If it is german if i could see details i could ID it for you...
