This is the oddest looking "pick axe" I have ever seen. There is a stamp on it that looks like O.L.S. - the handle is bolted into a strap arrangement and the main pick is bolted on. The old fellow that owned it was a bricklayer/mason - perhaps it was something he used. If you have any ideas about the company stamp or the purpose of the tool I would appreciate hearing it. The flat blade is 14" long with a beveled edge and 3" wide at the widest end. The green paint appears to be original.
