help with picture sizes

when i take a pic with my digatal camera and try to post them the kb are to big to post how do i get them smaller?

I usually go into Photo Shop & Crop Mine.

There are Programs for Re-sizing,

However I'v never been able to get one to work for me.

? Too Tecqnicly Challenged?
