help with rock found in Kuwait

while i was deployed, i found a rock that i have not seen before it appears to be an olive drab colored rock. i cracked a piece of the rock and its the same color on the inside olive drab green/grey.

anyone got an idea, im not to good with rocks

Sorry armyguy, the picture is fuzzy, but the discription sounds like common basalt. I could be wrong.
