help with souverign xs-2 pro

does any have any tips for this MD i havent had one befor egot this one for free i keep using discriminate and have the notch and disc set to wha tthe manual says and i seem to only pull scrap tabs and some brass. site is m,y house built in the late 1800's/ any help tuning would be great thanks.

Slow down your swings and keep digging.

and Coil to the Soil (Literally) The sovereign does not like air between the coil & the ground.
you will loose depth from swinging the sovereign above the ground.
you can loose maybe 2 inches for every inch of air, maybe more

Right now you are trying to find as much as you can,
and are digging the loud tones.

remember there are tiny soft tones also that your brain & ears
are ignoring for the louder ones.
As you run out of loud signals, you will automatically adjust to hear the
next ones down, and as you get to the deeper stuff,
you'll
like the Sovereign

just relax, take a deep breath, & Swing slow
