Dug this last week and just did electrolysis last night to reveal the words "UNIVERSAL CROBALT SUPER STAINLESS" on blade.
My guess is that this is part of the blade to a straight razor.
The use of the word "CROBALT" in the description is a take off on the term "cobalt steel".
I have not found a manufacturer that used this product description.
Blade was originally more than 4 inches long.
Could be a pocket knife blade.
Any info to id manufacturer and probable date range is appreciated.

Not a straight razor blade but more likely a cutlery blade of 20th century vintage. Found this example that links to the trademark.
