Help with weekend gilt button find, with eagle /no shield

Hello TH's. Got out to enjoy beautiful weather this weekend. I found this (dime+/-) sized button with lots of gilt still visible. The button was a 2 piece, the back rusted into oblivion. looks pretty fancy, but no military connected shield or such present. Anyone with an age guesstimation? Just an ordinary civilian button?
