HELP!!!

I live in the Milwaukee area and I am new to the treasure hunting scene. I don't even know where to begin. Anyone have any advice? I've been looking up old ghost towns online but that is about it. Any help would be much appreciated. I was also wondering if I am the only girl hunting in Wisconsin?

ok so you might want to start with an old park,school,anyplace where people used to gather long ago or today,old churches beaches i am sure you will find these places and you will find treasure,i hope this helps and no your not the only girl on here my wife hunts with me good luck happy huntin

Theres a nice home just N of Milwaukee that i have hunted, with a few people.....its on a farm, the childhood home of the person who assassinated president Garfield. Now there should be little/no crops left growing, so the field itself may be worth a look. Its actually in Grafton. The person that owns it is nice and has given permission, and is renting it out to a nice couple who seem intrested in the whole metal detecting idea and liked to see our finds.

Aside from that theres always the knock and ask method.
