I bought a new Nokta Simplex. Turned it on twice after charging and took it out for 10 minutes. Too much frost. Today was the true maiden voyage. Immediately got at hit. It was an aluminum tab, but it FOUND it! The next 10 “hits” revealed nothing. Finally I found this 2-piece tube. Then 4 or 5 hits with nothing. I would jump from a 12 to an 85, pinpoint it, meter shows on top for depth. NOTHING there. I’d run the coil over the dig site. Never get another hit there. My old Frontiersman was at least honest. It might miss a lot, but when it beeped… there was something there. At this rate I’ll have a pockmarked yard and Maybe a nickel. This machine was highly recommended. Any idea from Simplex owners? I’ve list my confidence, but not giving up. Thanks
