Back in the day, you could shut down the center of town for a cake walk, no tractor trailers rumbling through. Seems like a better time and place.

I drive through there nearly every day.
 
you cannot hunt this towns public property without
attending a public meeting for permission.

My understanding this is due to a Club who came into town many years ago,
and Argued with the Population over
who owned what :( The club name will remain anonymous.
 
That's a crying shame, such a nice picturesque town. I did see a Henninger on the 1870's atlas located northwest of town, near the mountain. There was a school near his residence to, so perhaps that's the grove.
 
I was advised by someone on the Boro that they believe
it was In town.

However With all the Buildings in that area west of the 1875 Henninger Farm,
it Will be worth a Drive By.

The main house has been replaced in 1990
