I luckily got the day off work so I went for a explore looking for cellar holes. That ended up a bust so I went to a pretty overgrown cellar nearby that usually produces some finds if you work for them. First I dug on the walk to it a 1962 dog tag. Once I arrived the first target was a British George iii halfpenny. Then a few flat buttons before a nice complete mid 1800’s Victorian military button. The last find of the day was the best being an old cufflink. I dug similar before but more basic plain versions. This one I hope to find some info on. It has a family crest/coat of arms with above an arm wielding a hatchet. The bottom part has a design or possibly initials on it. Luckily some good gilt still remained. It’s always nice getting a find that makes the display case. Thanks for looking! 😁👍
