Let's see: Marco Rubio stated that 75% of small businesses now say they are going to be forced to either fire their workers or cut their hours.
Most small businesss, those with under 50 employees DO NOT have to provide health insurance to their employees.(in fact some businesses with fewer than 25 employees may qualify for tax credits under the law). The claim that 75% of small businesses were reducing their workforce was based on a misreading study from the U.S. chamber of commerce. The study actually found that less than 10% of small businesses surveyed would have to cut their workforce or cut hours.
can you two guys tell me how to work two flex time jobs? I've been offered one at a major box store but I have to be there at 630 each morning and will leave each day at 1030 am. I have to punch back in at 230 pm and work until they tell me to go home, could be 600pm or 900 pm. They say they have to schedule according to demand.
I applied at another box and they said they could use me from 1130 PM til 430 AM, 3 days a week. Days are subject to change according to workload. They couldn't promise more than 24 hours at each of the places.
What do you geniusesu think I should do?
Onfire, old buddy, are you a volunteer firefighter or a "paid" fire fighter? My question was aimed at the person that stated they lost $300,000.00 in 2009, he's a mod on this board and I was hoping he'd tell me he got that all back, without telling me I was out of line.
