Thanks for posting the Ebay link. The one for auction is certainly not as worn as this one, but has a hole in it. Interesting.

Heh heh heh. The title was made up on the fly. I was researching the button & Googling sites like this yesterday when I decided to sign up to get more access.
Re: Other stuff he has found, coins, bullets, buckles, & spoons. All the expected stuff. No jewelry yet though.
The only other thing I can think of that I consider to have real historical value, is a Fugio. Before he found it, we had never even heard of them.

I've always wanted to find one of those,most of the ones I've seen on treasure net are found in the mid-atlantic area.Its nice to know that there may be some hope of finding some in New England.
