GW Inaugural. It cost the public 1.00 to buy one of those back then.

I am starting to think more people could afford to spend a dollar in the 18th Century than I thought. alot of GW's found in the last 2yrs.

Congrats on the find, Bill

LOL I hear that my friend. It's not a good market right now, especially the CW memorabilia .

WOW :o
If your title is any indication of the other 'stuff' your husband has found,
I'd sure like to see some more :hello2:
I thought I'd be seeing another craft shop Navy button ::)

Heh heh heh. The title was made up on the fly. I was researching the button & Googling sites like this yesterday when I decided to sign up to get more access.
Re: Other stuff he has found, coins, bullets, buckles, & spoons. All the expected stuff. No jewelry yet though. :(
The only other thing I can think of that I consider to have real historical value, is a Fugio. Before he found it, we had never even heard of them. :)

Thanks for ALL of the accolades. :D

I've always wanted to find one of those, most of the ones I've seen on treasure net are found in the mid-atlantic area. Its nice to know that there may be some hope of finding some in New England. :notworthy:
