yes, literally my 2 cents from a machine find maybe 6 weeks ago.
Almost threw it in the foreign junk coins pile.

I think its graded at VF - maybe $40ish bucks based on ebay final price.
Someone correct me if not.

Enjoy:

:happysmiley: That's a nice find. It's nicer than the 1864 I also found in a reject chute earlier this year. Mine is missing the "WE" of "In God We Trust" & most of the other letters in the motto is weak.

Very nice find! I found one a while ago but yours is in much better condition.

Wow! Yes that is an insane find and in killer shape

That's a great find! I've dug a few but the chances of finding one roll hunting seem slim, so congrats!

WOW!! That's incredible!

Awesome coin! And nice condition. Congrats!

dude...that is in great shape!!!!

I would say VF-30, putting it at $55 if slabbed by PCGS.

Is it the size of a normal penny or bigger? because I might start CRHing pennies if there's a chance of finding that. I love learning new stuff every day. that is a totally sweet find in my view. Totally uber-jealous here. LOL.

Sincerely, GarouLady

Stopped at my local coin shop and looked for this coin. They didn't have one in any of their binders. I guess I will have to check back or call and double check. I really would like to have a USA coin that old.

Sincerely, Garoulady

The diameter of a 2 cent piece is 23 mm, that puts in between a nickel (21mm) and a quarter (24mm).

great so no chance of me finding this in a roll. Hmmm, i have to head into town to get my white blood booster shot, so I might do some CRHing. Need to stop at a credit union to make my loan payment anyways.

sincerely, Garoulady

Great find for something you lease
Expected.

A piece like that deserves a special mounting, and a place of display as well.
