This week I learned that lesson the hard way on my home desktop - THATS ONLY 3 1/2 YEARS OLD!!! Luckily I had an external drive that I backed up about 90% of my stuff but that last 10% was all of my MD'ng photos and all my videos and a few other stuff. I just kept putting it off until it was too late, I guess my hard drive just crashed out. I am now using my secondary drive as my primary so I still have the computer but I need to load everything back into it and its just a huge pain an the butt...

Its not a matter of "if" it fails, its a matter of "when". I have a backup system that does hourly incremental backups. Fiend, I have done plenty of data recoveries over the years. The pics and videos are probably not lost. Let me know if you need any help recovery them.
