It's slag glass. Obsidian doesn't have macro inclusions. I have seen chert in that color (fairly common) but it isn't chert with those gas bubbles. If it's found east of the plains states there is zero chance of it being native obsidian.

Was this found anywhere near the Hanford nuclear site in WA state?
Well i cant be sure like i said it was giving to me a long time ago.. im from east canada (quebec) so i dont think so but maybe

I suspected that it was a dried out-solidified silicone epoxy.

They did experiments at Hanford trying to encase nuclear waste inside glass. I had samples of the glass they produced and it looked just like the OPs sample. They called it synthetic obsidian.
