Found this strange rock in an area of the river where the water is now low enough that there is a huge beach of rocks. I can't imagine this is natural unless it's a fossil. Anyone have any ideas? it's about the size of my hand (probably a little smaller than most of yours...lol). Also found another rock with a very nice seashell fossil in it and one completely covered on all sides by small snail or seashells.

Maybe a piece of very worn fossilized honeycomb coral.

No idea from me. Put it in the fossil forum and see what they say on it.
