A friend of mine took me metal detecting for the first time Friday evening... First find was the gig then the shoe and rounded out the evening with 2 CW 3 ring bullets.

A great start and certainly more than I found on my first day out. Don't forget that each item has a story to tell. I still have the horseshoe that I found some years ago--kind of a fun item to display. Hopefully, you are motivated to get back out and hunt some more. Enjoy.

Definitely ready to go again. Been looking at detectors online since(used his garrett ace which is a spare). Really liked his at max and the wireless headphones over the wire getting in the way everytime I would dig.

My friend let me use his garrett ace which I liked but don't see the point in buying it then wanting to upgrade 3-4 months later... so I'm looking at the at max the wireless headphones for woods then the ability to switch them to waterproof headphones and go in the river is really appealing to me
