The finder lives in Virginia but not sure if it was found there. He says it’s an Indiana state token but has no idea of age or anything about it.

Old Indiana State Fair token drilled out to wear as a momento. This was a old fair with many years of memorabilia....be a nice search for someone.

The OP's item does not match the watch fob unless someone did a lot of trimming. With that being said the lettering around the watch fob does match the OP's item.
Is there anything on the back?
