Going to try some beach detecting to start with this year, don't have a detector yet but waiting for the Minelab Vanquish range to come out and see what reviews they get, also like the look of the Tesoro Compadre as a starter machine, but Tesoro now out of business , so any new Tesoro machine would have no warranty I guess. Also have a friend nearby with 50 acres, half cleared half wooded. Waiting for the weather now, the grandkids are excited to get and find some 'treasure' also.
