Hi, From Southeast Louisiana

My DH and I have always been interested in treasure hunting and my mother recently gave us her Lone Star Metal Detector, however, she could not find the book for it. We want to take it out in the yard and give it a spin but I am not sure about the settings. Our yard is clay. I am posting a picture of the Detector, any help/advice would be greatly appreciated

Welcome, put in DISC mode, turn the sensitivity up to where the gold dots start, turn the discrimination up to block out iron. Try that and get to digging!
