I am old, ornery, and needed to get back outside. I've had a Minelab Explorer for years and am upgrading to a Minelab Equinox 600. Now that I live on the coast I hope detecting will be easier. If any of you live in the Texas Coastal Bend and know areas we are not allowed to detect in please let me know. I do know about state parks.

I was in Corpus Christi for a week a month ago and saw that only a few city parks between the beach and city center prohibit detecting. All I know of. The rules differ by area. Good luck down there!
