Hey, very new to all of this I've never even posted and a forum before but here I am my name is Erin and I got my metal detector last week and I'm having a lot of fun in the backyard for now but today I came across this rock my metal detector picked up which isl a very very lightweight, like really lightweight it's got a bit of sparkle/ light reflection I don't know how else to describe it but here's some pics

Could it be Lava Rock? They can cause your metal detector to go off...

So, you might consider jumping over to Sub-Forum: Select Your Area.... and selecting location information (i.e., clubs, hunts, finds, legends, maps, etc.) directly related to your state (or country). You might also consider adding your state (or country) to your displayed profile (SETTINGS -> EDIT PROFILE) so if you ask a question, etc. - members may have more success helping you (your location may help etc.)...
