High country fall

May have just started for y'all, but about over for us. Lot of wind lately blowin more leaves off. With snow forecast for the weekend, and if the wind keeps up, most trees will be bare next week maybe. Went up to Lower Cataract Lake west of Green Mountain Reservoir which is always a great place for fall pics.

Dang! I need to get up there, before the winds come and blow all that color away. Great shots.

Beautiful shots! The other half and I have a steam locomotive trip scheduled for October during the height of the fall foliage. I am hoping the leaves cooperate this year. We still have most of them and they are green yet. My mother's box elders were almost bare in Kentucky last week from the lack of rain. Their foliage probably won't be good this year.
