I got a killer premission on a 1840 house that is being remodeled , the house has tons of history use to Mexican governor's residence, then Mercantile. They removed all the wooden floors and I was thinking man all kinds of stuff be coming out...... but not to be just modern clad, few wheats dang in a 1840 house with history. Did you do the whole property or just inside underneath the floors because I was still in the 1811 home and when they were ripping up their floors I was all excited and I didn’t find nothing it was a big disappointment but I found my share outside including cap half dimes and half reals.

Oh well you can't win them all! Keep on swinging!

The rest of property has pecans orchard

I would do some recon on the pecons. Keep at it one hunt is not much!!!!! and doesnt mean theres nuttin

I would search the orchards for the treasures

Still a few nice finds! Try around the homes perimeter and yard area! :occasion14:

I’d be hitting that orchard as quick as looking at you. They lost plenty jumping up and down throwing rocks and jumping with big sticks. Take it from me I’m from Louisiana we pride ourselves in our pecan pies.

I'd keep looking that's for sure. Sounds like there could be more finds lurking around.

jimzz, I think many of us know that feeling. I've hit places where I had "visions of silver coins dancing thru my head", only to find a few recent pennies, and then a day or two later go to some patch of ground just for something to do and BINGO!, a couple of silvers. You just never know. Seems like a good place though, if you can, keep looking around.
