The man on the left next to my brother and wife was promoted to 9Th degree black belt in Judo. In Judo a black belt has different levels starting at 1 ending with 10Th. To show you how important this was no one can be promoted to 10Th anymore its saved for a few elite in the past. There is only a handfull of 9Th degrees in the world now. Mr. Imamura was presented the red belt that signifies 9Th degree. He was recognised by the President via Senator Ben Night Horse Cambell who also is a black belt of judo. Black belts from japan were there also to celebrate the occasion. This man has taught Judo in this area for over 50 years turning out champions win or lose.
