Watched the episode tonight, had a cool story about an B-24 Pilots journal. Sadly he didn't survive the war or see his daughter born, but they were able to track down his sister and daughter and return the journal. I have to admit, I had a tear in my eye when it was returned to her by her fathers co pilots son.

My Father was a B-29 gunner and I have nothing but admiration for the crews who went into harms way knowing that 40 to 60 percent would not return.
