Hit a new spot today...

I hit a new home site today. My brother in law naught the house there and it is fairly old. So thought I'd hit around it for a while. Didn't have much luck. Found some this and that's. Some junk and a 1981 quarter. Found these two things too. Not sure what they're. Help would be appreciated one appears to be like an old metal spinner of some sort. The other have no idea. Thanks all.
