Do to the warm winter and the deer population going from zero to way to many in my town. The ticks have been a nuisance now more then ever.
I decided to give the woods a brake and hit the beach for gold. Brought both, AT Pro, and Sea Hunter. Of course it was the coldest day so far this winter with 20mph sustained winds. That kept me out of the surf. Even a dry suit was no match for that mess.
So I hit the dry sands with the Pro and found a niche for the NEL Tornado. Half of what I found in pic was 8-14" deep. The zinc penny's you really had to listen for but a dime you would have thought was at an inch was 8+. I was using a smaller RTG scoop due to the stone content, most digs were 4-5 scoops.
Unfortunately no gold but no ticks either.
