Makes me wonder if the Native American craftsman who knapped these beauties held them up to the sun when they completed them and said......ahh, that looks good, or was it just another point to utilize.

Good question village, I wouldn't doubt it if they held them up to the sun to check. I know I would, they might have had contests to see who in their group could make the best translucent ones.
