Hit the surf lane 3 hours this morning

Had to go to Hampton this morning so I decided to try and see what I could find out at Buckroe Beach. The wind was blowing pretty hard and it was only around 41 degrees so it was pretty cool.Found some old ammo and a little clad. No gold or silver today.

Pretty cool finds, what's pictured right under the .30 caliber bullets, are they lead shot? Or just miscellaneous metal? Kind of looks like round balls from the pic.
