Did great on the last I’d, found this at the same barn site this is about 15 inches long and I’m guessing the lever was once attached to the spring and would open the jaws? They don’t seem like they move at all but that could just be the heavy rust, as for the back end it looks like it was fixed to a piece of wood. Was curious if I am on the right track or if someone has a more specific id.

I meant to get measurements this morning, I’ll try to remember after work, I can see what you are getting at, it would be an awfully beefy wiper but i guess if it came off of a combine or something… never looked that close at a combine do they have wipers haha.

Dug it out of the box that has stuff from that barn, it Wasn’t as big as I was remembering. Since I’ve been learning the new detector I’ve Been bringing home way too much stuff.
