✅ SOLVED Hmmm, well, it looks like a button

Digging at my local park just to kill a little time and dug this little guy. My first though was button but since the side with writing looks to be missing a shank I was confused. My confusion only grew when I cleaned it and found what looks to be a shank in the other side as well. I’m not knowledgeable when it comes to buttons so if somebody could help me out I’d appreciate it.
