I have been looking for 1 since I started this, have never found one, we saw some at the coins show we went to last year, they wanted a lot of money for them, like hundreds of dollars. HH, Maverick.

I believe someone on her found a hobo nickel in a roll once.

I sometimes check out the hobo nickel auctions on ebay.....most of them r really cool looking and I think some of the really nice ones do sell for hundreds of dollars like maverick said. I think I recognize that carver's name from some ebay auctions Ive seen but Im not certain. And your right, finding one sure would be a nice surprise.
