Haven't heard of any finds of, "Hobo nickels" in a long, long time. Do you know of any having been found recently? You can Google it. Sorry don't know how to do a link.

johnnycat , A Hobo Nickel would be a very tough find indeed , with a detector or coin roll hunting . I suppose it's been done but
it has got to be very rare (in my estimation that would be a BANNER find )

Hobo Nickels have become a very big deal and there are collectors of both the "first generation" Hobo nickels, and a very active
collectors market for "new generation" or modern Hobo nickels.

The market for these is being flooded by next generation hobo nickels. Its getting very hard to find original hobo nickels.
