Lord love a duck! Thinking that rugrats these days have no respect for property. Even the places that are designed for them. Hit a playground in the Spryfield area that was littered with broken glass, garbage and doggie dew. nevertheless I thought there would be a few goodies below the garbage below the dirt and sand.
Wading and swinging through the playground was a precarious outing to say the least. Looked down and there was Sponge Bob Next came an eyeball find that took flight along with some coppers. Got zipped on a zipper having enough of this junk pile I loaded back up into Nogo heading towards a park.
Here the atmosphere was much better with me taking Zen Guru for a walk through the trails, trees ,doggie dew and bugs! Actually got a few nice tail wags especially with a rump rub. Unbeknownst to me I had picked up a few hitch hikers which I discovered while in the Superstore crawling over my forehead. Inch worms...not quite a dozen but lets say a few more and they would not be called inch worms anymore as with finding 12 we would have to call them foot worms.....deep joke me bouy. Anyway found a nice brooch that was no longer nice once I took it out of the ground as it crumbled leaving the crown in the hole. Such is life! Next came a button with a bit of gold guilt along ,not far but a few inches away a Halifax Bridge token that can no longer be used.
Time to leave as I was knackered and had to take Paw a small decaf with two sweeteners at Camp Hill. Dad was in a jovial mood but not exactly on this continent. Some days ying and some days yang.
Was nice to be in the zone on the dig and now preparing for the royal visit of French Dave for the weekend!
