Is the medallion silver? If so set up a mini electrolysis unit and you'll have it looking like new in no time at all.

Yeah I'm pretty sure it's silver..I've used cell phone chargers to do small silver items like this but I don't really want it looking like new.. I like it better to leave some dark look of age on it
