Holley Dairy Token

I found this Holly Dairy token good for 1 quart of milk. Anybody familiar with this one. It was found in the Ogden, Utah area. It measures 1" from top to bottom it is octagon shape and aluminum. I found a Holley Merc Co. in the Utah token book but no Holley Dairy.

Just tidying up some blasts from the past (including some very ancient ones), largely for the benefit of anyone searching the site for information.

Here’s one of Holley’s bottle caps. Seems like it was a family farming operation with a dairy in Ogden as part of a larger co-operative operating since circa 1920s.

Here’s a couple of obituaries for the original owner, Horace Holley (1890-1973) although he was long retired at the time he died.

The dairy belonged to my grandfather, Horace, my uncle Cecil, and my father, Vernal. We had 160 acres just outside of Ogden. Great place for a boy to grow up.
