I haven't been out hunting much, and if I was it was the usual, clad and junk, mostly junk! I had a little time today so I went to the triangle. A triangle of land bordered on the three sides by streets. I have been here before and found a silver rosie and a silver cross. Today I found a bunch of clad, four wheats, a pocket knife and a cool button.
After returning home I was finishing a project I had been working on. I had stripped the sod off between my neighbors house and my driveway so I could put in some plantings and mulch it. It was screaming to be detected (again) I managed to pull out a ton of nails and screws and other assorted junk. Then came the good stuff, a 1917 and a 1916D wheat, 1903 and 1890 Indians and a very cool token. "Demark Bros. good for 5 cent drink at the bar" with a cow on it! The cool part is that Demarks bar is still in business today.
I'm thinking the token is early 1900's and if anyone has any info on the button it will be appreciated.

Hi Steve,

Nice finds! I love finding tokens. Five cents won't get you a glass of water today. ;D
Sorry, can't help you with that button.
Mike

Sounds like a trip to the bar is in order :coffee2:
The owners should get a kick from the old token.
