I got out for a half day hunt with Carolina Tom & Smittyman yesterday, the ground was easy to dig from Friday's rain and it was cold, but not as cold as last weekend. I got a couple things but the highlight of my day was finding my second class ring ever (class of 1991)!

My first target of the day was this little early 20th century transit token from Duke Power

Keepers included the class ring, the transit token, a maxi ball with a little age to it and the cut-in-half promotional thimble. Also got some clad and 5 wheaties.

You had a great day, congratulations! :occasion14:

A nice find on the class ring. Looks like a fun hunt with all that other stuff.

Big congrats Dirty Kurty!

That is such a sweet find. Of course you know I’ve never found one, but you have found two of them right in front of me. I was really mad at my Deus for NOT finding that for me.

Good luck buddy, I’ll see you soon.

Congrats Kurt, I love finding GOLD! I'm glad you found that beautiful ring, nice work on the token also.

Nice finds especially the ring!!

The "Ring Master" has struck again. Congratulations Kurt! Wish I could have been there to see it. Happy hunting buddy

congrats on the very nice class ring, woman's? love the token too plus the other cool finds

Love the class ring. I’ve only found 2 ladies class rings one gold no stone. A MAJOR bucket lister of mine is the men’s gold class ring preferably from a man with huge fingers. Congratulations

Nice day of swinging. Since the ring in from 91 shouldn’t be too hard to find the owner.

Yes, it's a ladies ring

WTG Kurt, :headbang: A huge congrats on digging the gold right in front of Tom.. :occasion14: I bet he spew'd a comical verbal barrage when you dug that. :tongue3: You certainly dug your share of targets during that hunt.

Nice find, love those gold class rings. Tom, they come in three's. Get back out there and find your third gold outta that hole! That place sure has been good to you guys. I need a spot like that!
Grats and thanks for postin

You didn't mention the school name or can we see it on the ring. I'm guessing your going to keep it! I would after I check a few websites to see it was lost. Some people who has lost a ring will assume if it has a name people would return it so they don't do anything like post it on a lost and found website. I figure if you lost it you should put your 2 cents in and post that it was lost.

What's up with that Tom, are you not digging all solid mid tones? I think you need to work on your MO-JO bro. Gold is sweet to dig, if I were a betting man, I'd wager that I've passed over o few in the 3 years and probably gobs in my 1st 8 months since I was mainly digging high tones looking for the clad and silvers.
