I had 2 hours to hunt, turned into less than 1.5 hours. Anyways, still had an awesome mid morning. I went with the head down plow a path and dig every signal mentality today. A few hundred holes later I had a pocket full of clad, cargo pant legs filled with bottle caps and enough tin pieces of can for a case of beer AND these wonderful lads!....1865 and 1883 Indian Heads, awesome!

1865 good year Congrats...

Schweet IHPs there , you've got me beat for the year there , found one in a on top of the ground coin spill and that is it for the year here !

1865 is one of my favorite years in American history. Great quality for such an old Indian too.

Thanks fellas, I found a fatty 1863 IH early this summer and it came out of the ground like it was new. Found it in about 2" in a hard pack trail in the forest along with 3 brothers from 1879, 1888 & 1900. I also found a crisp like new 1904 in my back yard bringing my total for the year to 13! That's nuts! until this year I have only found 5 total, t's been a great year, what a great hobby I wish I picked it up as a kid.

Nice couple of indians ya got there
