Never forget what they endured. When you see that old man with his ball cap on. It may say Airbourne ! It may say USAF Para Rescue " So other's may live " It may say DUSTOFF ! He may have the name of a ship on his cap. Look him in the eye and say " Thank You For Your Service To Our Country " Somewhere in your little town on Monday morning around 10:30 , there will be a ceremony to honor your local veterans. Go ! Honor Them !

Amen and God Bless the old warriors. Without them, we'd have no new warriors.

Being a vietnam veteran.I can say it was a pleasure giving service to the greatest country on the face of the earth. And to all other veterans god bless you.

In Flanders Field

In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

We will NOT go quitely into the night!

Today at work, we who have served were called to the office and personally thanked individually by supervision and presented a token of appreciation. I thought it was a nice gesture and was very welcomed by everyone I talked to.

With my wife's, and my service, which amounts to 33 years of combined Navy, Army, Air Force service, we say ditto to Justdon! We feel blessed to have served and salute all active, retired, and those we lost in order for us to have the freedom do the things we love in life, like digging up bottle caps!

Belated as it be, as a USAF vet, I hope all my brothers and sisters had a wonderful Veterans Day!

It's never too late to express appreciation--and remind others why we have the most freedoms in the world--and it's not because of our politicians.
