HOPE FOR MINNESOTANS

I have a tough time finding anything of age in Minnesota and find myself on the verge of despair more often than not . So when I found this button in a S.E. Minnesota in a town that is hunted out , I thought I'd post a photo to my fellow Dmen with a mind to give them hope . They may have gotten most of it but, they didn't get it all boy's .

It was about 6" down in an open lot that looked to be an old roadbed next to an 1880 hotel . The hotel is next to the R.R Tracks on the otherside . The button is around 22 mm in diameter . From what I can gather this style may have come online around 1832 and continued into the beginning of the Great Rebellion . Any additional info. or corrections appreciated .
