I was checking out an apparent dump on my “new” property. Found eave troughs from a building, old steel feeders for livestock and some 5 gallon steel gas cans. Haven’t had a chance to dig yet. This location is in a shallow ravine. I’m hoping there is a bona fide farm dump under there. Many ravines were turned into dumps. The thought being that the junk needed to go somewhere and it would help prevent further washing away of the dirt. I’ll kept you posted if it turns into a true archival dump.
