I brushed it off. I'll put it in olive oil later, but it is in pretty rough shape. It seems to be a token of soime kind I've seen before but can't identify. Hopefully someone here can.

Nick thank you, that is what it is. It's in horrible shape, that worst case scenerio, when you see a beautiful green patina that once was, turn into the creepy kind of corrosion so bad that the letters look almost like negative images. The soil here at the shore is not kind to copper. Oh well, that moment still feels good when you have a good size piece of copper in your hand covered with dirt. :)Back to the woods.....
